<p>A pipette has a chamber from which fluid is displaced and whose size is limited by a flexible membrane whose perimeter is protected by a screen with a variable-diameter aperture, through which the membrane central area is deformed. The pipette further has a membrane deflection plunger. The pipette has a detachable fluid delivery tip and a passage between the chamber and the tip. The membrane is circular and is presented to a circular aperture from the displacement chamber. The range of plunger displacement is constant. The iris is coupled to a volume discharge indicator.</p> |
