Method of displaying on a communication terminal a picture associated to a communication participant

The method involves assigning image to an entry of subscriber's list stored in a communication terminal. Face localization algorithm is used to determine coordinates of facial features of the image. The determined coordinates of facial features are then assigned to the image corresponding to the entry in the list. When a subscriber in the list calls, a control character is used to call corresponding image of calling subscriber. Face animation algorithm is used to process facial feature coordinates of called image to form animated image of calling subscriber to be shown on a display. An independent claim is included for the computer program product storing the computer program of the display method.
