PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering system easily mounted to a vehicle and capable of high output without increasing the strength of rack and pinion teeth, nor impairing silence. SOLUTION: An axis A2 of a motor 7 is arranged to be almost in line symmetry to an axis A1 of a pinion shaft 6, and the electric steering force of the motor 7 is imparted to a rack shaft 2 through a bearing nut 9 arranged coaxially with the rack shaft 2. |
