<p>An electron emission device includes a first substrate (2) and a second substrate (4) facing the first substrate. A first electrode (6) and a second electrode (10) are formed on the first substrate and insulated from each other. Electron emission regions (12) are electrically connected to at least one of the first electrode or the second electrode. A phosphor layer is formed on the second substrate. An anode electrode is formed on a surface of the phosphor layer.
