A light 10 comprises a light body 14 and a housing 18 operable to support a removable power tool battery pack B. The light includes circuitry connectable between the light body, the battery pack, and a second power source such as an AC supply. Alternatively, the circuit may connect the light body to the battery pack, and the battery pack to the supply. The battery pack may serve to power the light in case of mains failure. The light is preferably a floodlight, and may include both LED and halogen light elements. The light may also include a handle 58 and may be folded open and closed, for portable use. |
