Allocating parameters (26a-26c,27) are assigned to each of the virtual computer units (6a,6b) in a group (7). Allocation is performed based on given rules and with consideration to the allocating parameters. Computing power (13) is divided and allocated first to virtual computer units (6c) not belonging to the group. Computing power (17) is then allocated to each of the computer units in the group. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer system; and (2) a computer program product.
