<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving apparatus and an image receiving method to receive without limitation of decided image quality, to conduct a print indication selectively at a receiving side, and to have a convenience of use. <P>SOLUTION: A data-typed image file matching to a processing capability of an own machine is read from a WWW server 22 and stored in an auxiliary storage apparatus 4.
