<p>The method involves heating process gas, which flows through a pipe line, by a heat exchanger (18) that supplies heat by combustion gas flow produced by a burner. A part of the process gas flow is guided through a by-pass line (26) that by-pass the exchanger. The ratio of the process gas mass flows flowing through the exchanger and the by-pass line is adjustable, where the heat output of the exchanger is controlled depending upon the adjusted ratio of the process gas mass flow through the exchanger and the by-pass line. An independent claim is also included for a device for drying a fibrous material.</p> |
