A machine tool comprises a tool carrier 16 movable horizontally and a work-table 60 movable at right angles thereto and vertically, the table having a work-locating face parallel to inclined guideways 56 which provide for the horizontal movement. A milling cutter spindle 20 is adjustable axially by a hand-wheel 18 on the slide 16, which is adjustable by a wheel 15. An auxiliary head 28 is angularly adjustable on a slide 26. A knee 50 is adjusted vertically by a wheel 52 and the table 60 is adjusted horizontally by a wheel 58. The work 100 is mounted on the horizontal or vertical face of a block 80 having clamping flanges 82. To the vertical face of the block 80 may be secured an indexing or circular table or a second similar block to increase the horizontal surface. |
