<p>A multi-port rotary disc valve comprises a rotary distributor having channels arranged in a channel pattern and including a rotor and a movably mounted mask. The rotor and the mask accommodate the channels. The mask is adapted to change the channel pattern by changing its position with respect to the rotor to enable the disc valve to perform different predetermined sequences corresponding to different positions of the mask. A multi-port rotary disc valve comprises a stator (14) with fluid flow ports and a rotary distributor with channels (35, 36) arranged in a channel pattern. The channels are adapted to connect the ports between them and/or to the environment in predetermined combinations. Each combination is associated with an angular position of the rotary distributor with respect to the stator. A succession of the combinations performed during a full or partial unidirectional turn of the rotary distributor constitutes a predetermined sequence. The rotary distributor comprises a rotor (16) and a movably mounted mask (20). The rotor and the mask accommodate the channels. The mask is adapted to change the channel pattern by changing its position with respect to the rotor to enable the disc valve to perform different predetermined sequences corresponding to different positions of the mask.</p> |
