A manhole apparatus for a sidewalk and a construction method thereof are provided to enhance appearance of the sidewalk by placing a fixing structure of the manhole apparatus in a lower part of a sidewalk block, and to increase productivity by improving compatibility of a cover, formability and dimensional stability. A manhole apparatus(10) is composed of a cover(70), and a support frame(20) comprising a vertical edge(30) having a cover support(60) placing and supporting the cover, a horizontal edge(40) integrally formed in a lower part of the vertical edge and horizontally extended and plural reinforcing plates(50) integrally formed by connecting a side(34) of the vertical edge to the horizontal edge. The reinforcing plate is combined with the side of the vertical edge and placed to be lower than a sidewalk block. Dimensional stability is improved by restricting deformation of an assembling portion of the reinforcing plate and the cover, and the rigidity of the vertical edge is increased. |
