A sewage separator installed in a drain pipe of an apartment house is provided to extend the life span, and to cut down expenses by shutting off inflow of filts into the drain pipe with the separator and easily discharging filts owing to moving a filter net of a filter member into and out of the front of a case. A sewage separator includes a case(20) having a storage space(21) containing a filter member(40) and a door(25) temporarily opening or shutting an opening part(23) to which the filter member is inserted, an elastic member(30) provided with plural tension springs(33) fixed between upper and lower plates(32,33) and combined with a seating groove(26) of the case by an assembling unit(35) to push the filter member up by applying reaction force, and the filter member separating filts from sewage with a filter net bent in a center. Foreign matters are separated from sewage into a sewage inlet by mounting the filter member in the case connected to a drain pipe(10) to prevent the drain pipe from being blocked. |
