A tray door structure for an automobile is provided to prevent the tray door from being opened during a head impact test and an inertial mass test. A tray door structure for an automobile includes a door(12), a button, and a threshold(31). The door is installed at the tray. The button is formed at an inner part of the door to open or close the tray. The threshold is formed at an inner part of the door to prevent vertical downward movement of the button. The button includes a push button, a threshold projection, an extension plate, and a support plate.
