摘要 <p>The invention relates to a furnace for achieving high temperatures by optical means, employed in technological processes for obtaining melt-grown crystals in oxidizing or reducing media. According to the invention, the furnace comprises a set of four identical subassemblies (A) which are symmetrically arranged on a circle of determined radius. Each subassembly (A) comprises an elliptical plane mirror (10) whose inner surface is coated with a reflecting silver film and in whose focus point there is mounted a rod-type halogen light bulb (9). The bulb (9) is fixed in the mirror focus point (10) by using some mechanical joining elements (8) placed on a support (7) which is common with the support of the mirror (10). The subassembly made this way can be multiplied and placed on suitable supports to achieve the heating of various types and sizes of profiles.</p>
