A corner block for constructing a retaining wall is provided to prevent breakage and the gap between blocks from concentration of shear stress in differential settlement or horizontal displacement in constructing the retaining wall with the corner block, and to make the best use of space by constructing a perpendicular corner in the limited space. Storage grooves(12,14) are perpendicularly formed at left and right sides(11,13) of a corner block(A) to insert sides of blocks(B) perpendicularly constructed, a reinforcing member insertion groove is formed in an upper part of the corner block to fit an end of a reinforcing member. A connecting pin insertion hole is formed in the reinforcing member insertion groove to fit a connecting pin for assembling upper and lower blocks. A blade part is formed in the front of the storage groove to cover the front of the side of the block, and a protruded part is formed in the rear part of the storage groove to cover the rear part of the side of the block. A retaining wall is constructed by interlocking the corner block with the block. |
