A welding machine for coupling a connector using friction heat and a method of welding using the same are provided to automatically perform a connector welding operation to improve workability and productivity. A welding machine for coupling a connector using friction heat includes a pipe moving part(10), a fastening part(20), a connector chucking part(30), a tool frame(40), and a controller(50). The pipe moving part is straightly and reciprocally moved by a first hydraulic cylinder(13). The fastening part is installed at one side of the pipe moving part and spaced apart therefrom by a certain distance, and has a plurality of clamps(26). The connector chucking part is installed at the fastening part and spaced apart therefrom by a certain distance, and has a chuck(32) for fixing the connector. The tool frame has a connector machining part(44) for machining an inner diameter of the connector. The controller controls operation of the pipe moving part, the fastening part, the connector chucking part(30), and the tool frame.
