An image input apparatus, a camera and a contact image sensor are provided to input an image from which a hologram is removed to a light-receiving unit from an object on which the hologram is printed using a polarization filter. An image receiving apparatus includes a light source emitting light to an object on which a hologram is printed, a first polarization filter, a second polarization filter, and a light-receiving unit. The first polarization filter is located on the traveling path of the light emitted from the light source to the object and has a first polarization axis. The second polarization filter is located on the traveling path of light that passes through the first polarization filter, inputs to the object and then reflected from the object and has a second polarization axis. The light-receiving unit receives the light that passes through the second polarization filter. The first polarization axis and the second polarization axis are arranged at a predetermined angle to each other when the first polarization filter and the second polarization filter are opposite to each other in parallel so that an image from which the hologram printed on the object is removed is inputted to the light-receiving unit.
