A stent and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate manufacturing work by forming a cylindrical stent by a second member crossing the movement trace of a first member and to reduce damage of materials by preventing unnecessary movement of the first and second members. The stent manufacturing method comprises the steps of: producing a cylindrical mesh structure by bending a first member(1) in a zigzag with forming peaks and valleys along the circumferential surface of a production frame and rotating the first member several times along the circumferential surface and forming a cylindrical mesh structure by bending a second member in a zigzag across a trace formed by the first member with forming peaks and valleys along the circumferential surface of the production frame and turning the second member plural times along the circumferential surface. |
