The seat has a retractable armrest (16) passing from a usage position to an intermediate position by rotating around an armrest axis (26). The armrest is passed from the intermediate position to a raised position by rotating in the direction of a backrest (14) around a transversal axis (28). The armrest is parallel to the direction (D) and is arranged between backrests of two seats when in the raised position.
