Biocidal polymers based on guanidine salts

Disclosed is a biocidal polymer guanidine derivative based on diamines which include two amino groups and oxyalkyl chains there between, characterised in that the guanidine derivatives are a product of a poycondensation of a guanidine acid addition salt with diamines which include polyalkyl chains between two amino groups. Polymers of the type disclosed are useful as disinfectants.
