The decompressor has an eccentric (A) that is positioned from a side of a distribution pinion which is provided opposite to two cams. The eccentric is movable between armed and disarmed positions. The eccentric is returned to the armed position by a pin spring (13) such that stopping of a slid flat of the eccentric on an axle integrated with the eccentric is placed vertically. A pushrod is pushed towards the top such that the pushrod half-opens an exhaust valve during the compression phase of an engine e.g. heat engine. An independent claim is also included for a mode of execution of a decompressor.
