The invention relates to the agricultural machinery industry, in particular to the portable machines with one operator, and may be used for soil opening with weed destruction, for plant hilling in the medium and light soils.The motor cultivator includes a tubular frame 5 with handle 6, a motor 1 mounted onto the frame 5, coupled with the motor 1 a reduction gear 2, containing a pair of conic gearwheels, a tool, including a set of milling cutters 3, fixed in pairs onto the shaft. Novelty consists in that the reduction gear 2 additionally contains a pair of cylindrical gearwheels, the drive wheel of which is mounted onto the output shaft, onto which there are installed the milling cutters 3, above which there is mounted a protective housing 4. Onto the frame 5, from the end of the handle 6, there is fixed a hook 7 for belt fixation.
