PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce hours of work at a work site by implementing adjustment and setting up work of a vision sensor off-line beforehand which used to be mainly implemented at a work site. SOLUTION: An off-line instruction device 10 comprises a storage device 12 for storing data showing shapes and dimensions of a work, a robot, and the vision sensor; and a display 14 for displaying images of the work, the robot, and the vision sensor based on the data stored in the storage device 12. Additionally the instruction device 10 comprises a simulation program 16 for disposing the images of the work, the robot, and the vision sensor on the display 14, and obtaining data for measurement of the vision sensor based on the dispositions of the images; and a sensor program 18 for implementing the measurement of the vision sensor on the display 14 based on the data for measurement.
