PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update firmware to an optimum version at the time of replacing a system board, or the like. SOLUTION: A version change part 15 collates the version of firmware of the system board, at the time of replacing the system board, with the version of firmware of a corresponding partition stored in a partition-based version storage part 12. When the both are mismatched, the version of firmware of the system board is updated to the same version as the corresponding version stored in the partition-based version storage part 12.
