PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a vertical stripe ghost in a plural pixel simultaneous sampling system. SOLUTION: A video driver 2 has sample hold circuits 21-26 which perform delay processing of a video signal SIG. A timing generator 3 outputs a latch signal SH for prescribing delay processing timing of the sample and hold circuits and a clock signal HCK for prescribing a simultaneous sampling period of a drive circuit 13. The drive circuit 13 has a shift register 15 which sequentially outputs sampling pulsesψaccording to the clock signal HCK and a horizontal switch HSW which distributes a plurality of video signals SIG to the prescribed number of data lines Y by every simultaneous sampling period in response to each sampling pulseψ. The timing generator 3 adjusts phase differenceΔt<SB>DTG</SB>between the latch signal SH and the clock signal HCK so as to be out of conditions under which the ghost occurs.
