PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ink stain caused by the fact that a printable disk type recording medium is not set correctly. SOLUTION: A printing means 23 of the printer 2 carries out printing on the disk type recording medium 4 set in the printer 2. A judging means 23 judges whether or not a face to be printed by the printing means 23 of the set disk type recording medium 4 is a printable face. A printing stop means 23 stops printing by the printing means 23 when it is judged by the judging means 23 that the face to be printed by the printing means 23 is not a printable face.
