摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power conversion efficiency and reduce the number of circuit components as a power circuit which has power factor improving function. SOLUTION: A current resonance type converter is provided with a power regeneration system of power factor improving circuit 10, and it is provided with a series resonance circuit on the secondary side, as well, thereby forming a coupled resonance circuit by the electromagnetic coupling of a converter transformer PIT. In order to obtain unimodal properties for this coupled resonance circuit, about 0.74 is set to the coupling coefficient of the converter transformer PIT itself, and the inductance of the primary winding, depending on the number of its turns of a feedback transformer, is connected to the primary side of a converter transformer PIT, and a general coupling coefficient is set approximately 0.64, whereby the variable control range of switching frequency is reduced to cope over a wide range. Hereby, a reactive filter becomes unnecessary. Furthermore, eddy current loss at a gap part is reduced, by enlarging the coupling coefficient of the converter transformer PIT itself, and AC-DC power conversion efficiency is improved.
