PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker for reproducing low-pitched sound suitable as a vehicle-mounted speaker in which reproduction performance can be enhanced by assuring sufficient capacity of a cabinet, cost can be reduced by mass production because it can be mounted generally on a variety of types of vehicle, and mounting/demounting can be facilitated. SOLUTION: In the Kelton system speaker 1 for reproducing low-pitched sound, a cabinet 5 for containing a speaker unit 3 has a substantially parallelepiped profile elongated longitudinally wherein the longitudinal length dimension is set close to the depth dimension of a sheet cushion 25 in a vehicle, the speaker unit 3 is fixed to a partition plate 7 sectioning the interior of the cabinet 5 into front and rear air chambers, and the lower surface of the cabinet 5 is secured to the sheet cushion 25 by means of a securing belt 23 laid along the longitudinal direction.
