PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a method and a device capable of inspecting the fixing strength of the sliding layer of the sliding bearing bush, using a simple method. SOLUTION: The liquid medium is fed to the clearance (8) between the sliding bearing bush and a pin. The sliding bearing bush (2) and the pin (5) are vibrating mutually and relatively with the axial line (9) for prescribed time and with a prescribed force and mutually moved, and the sliding bearing bush (2) is inspected, after loading test regarding the defect of the sliding layer (3). This appropriate device includes a pin (5), which is supported with both the ends freely and rotatably in the pin housing part (20) and the 1st driving device (7) is arranged. Furthermore, the bearing bush (2) to be inspected capable of inserting by press fitting to the bush housing part (10) is provided, and the pin (5) is supported in the bearing bush (2) with a prescribed clearance.
