PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a droplet ejection head which can inexpensively maintain the amount of ejection of droplets with a high degree of accuracy and whose density can become higher, a liquid cartridge, and an inkjet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: This droplet ejection head comprises: an ejection port 6 for ejecting the droplet; a liquid chamber part 4 which communicates with the ejection port 6 so as to supply the droplet; a channel bulkhead 3 for dividing the adjacent liquid chamber parts 4; and an element substrate 9. The element substrate 9 is equipped with an ejection-energy generating part for ejecting the droplet from the ejection port 6 by heating the droplet infilled into the liquid chamber part 4; the ejection-energy generating part is an electrothermal conversion element; the electrothermal conversion element is equipped with a thermal storage layer 52 for storing generated heat, a heat-generating resistive layer 56 for generating the heat, a wiring layer 59 for leading electricity to the layer 56, a protective layer 60 for protecting wiring, and an impact reducing layer 61 for reducing an impact generated during defoaming; and a part of the layer 56 is arranged nearer to a surface than the wiring layer 59.
