PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a resin which exhibits an excellent processability, when a component foaming during the synthesis of the resin is included or blowing a gas into the solution is necessary. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process is characterized in that a defoaming agent is included in the solution during the synthesis of the resin and yields a high viscosity and high concentration resin solution with a simple operation by enhancing the bubble-breaking capability of the solution, when a foaming component foaming during the synthesis is included or nitrogen is blown into the resin solution for cyclodehydration in synthesizing a polyimide resin.
