PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of locking in linkage with setting of a paper sheet feed tray even in the condition that a locking member is not actuated or capable of prohibiting the setting of the sheet feed tray. SOLUTION: The sheet feed tray 1 able to be set removably in the sheet carrying direction is formed being divided fore and aft in such a way as able to expand and contract, is equipped with the locking member 2 to fix the expanded/contracted condition, and is stored in the image forming device, wherein the device is furnished with a lock set part 3 abutting to the locking member 2 in linkage with the setting and removing motions of the tray 1.
