PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a brush of passengers with each other when getting into/off an elevator car. SOLUTION: This elevator device is provided with a waiting passenger detecting circuit 16 for detecting waiting passengers near a landing door, a passenger detecting circuit 14 for detecting passengers inside the elevator car, an announce output circuit 18 for performing voice guide for the passengers waiting in a landing hall and the passengers inside the elevator car, and a determining circuit 17 for determining whether an elevator door is opened or not on the basis of registration condition of hall calls and car calls in each floor, a result of each of detections by the waiting passenger detecting circuit 16 and the passenger detecting circuit 14 and voice guide condition of the announce output circuit 18.
