Method of enabling purchasing via a printed interactive form

A method of enabling a purchasing transaction via a printed interactive form is provided. The form has printed thereon graphical information relating to a purchasing transaction and a plurality of tags. Each tag contains coded data identifying the form and its own location on the form. The method comprises the steps of: (a) a computer system receiving indicating data from an optically imaging pen interacting with the form, and the computer system identifying at least one parameter relating to the purchasing transaction using the indicating data. The indicating data comprises data regarding an identity of the form and data regarding a location of the pen relative to the form. The pen generates the indicating data using sensed coded data.
