<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inkjet recording paper of a high grade which enables attainment of a high image density and high representation properties and has a high flaw resistance of an ink absorbing layer and which is superior also in terms of a cissing failure caused by a rise in a coating speed connected with an increase of productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording paper has at least two ink absorbing layers containing silica particulate, polyvinyl alcohol and a water-soluble polyvalent metal compound on a substrate. The outermost ink absorbing layer being most distant in location from the substrate and having a dry film thickness of L μm is 1 μm≤L μm≤10 μm thick and contains spherical particulate having an average particle diameter of d μm, and 0.1≤d/L≤1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
