<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost inkjet recording medium with excellent gloss, which prevents cockling. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording medium is characterized in that a cast-coated layer, a layer containing organic particulates A or organic particulates B, defined as below, and an ink absorbing layer are provided in this order on one side of paper base material. The water-insoluble organic particulate A is dissolved or swollen by a water-soluble organic solvent with an SP value of 18.414-30.69 (MPa)<SP>1/2</SP>and a boiling point of 120°C or higher. In the organic particulate B which has a polymer containing a 5 mass% or more constitutional repeating unit, expressed by general formula (1), as a copolymerized component, a glass transition temperature (Tg) is in the range of 70-200°C, and a mean particle diameter is in the range of 10-100 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
