<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thinned electronic equipment, whereas further thinning is requested for electronic equipment such as portable computer. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic equipment comprises a casing having an electronic part and a battery unit 100 provided on the casing. The battery unit 100 includes a case 101 and a plurality of battery cells 102a-102f. The case 101 includes: a first part 111 storing one or more battery cells 102a-102d; a second part 112 storing one or more battery cells 102e and 102f; and a third part 113 connecting the first part 111 to the second part 112. The third part 113 has a relief part 115.
