<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a sintered substance with excellent productivity while properly keeping the particle diameter of the sintered substance by using construction waste soil, industrial waste or the like as a main raw material and utilizing idle equipment or existing equipment as it is. <P>SOLUTION: The sintered substance having a bone dry density of≥1.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and <2.5 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, a water absorption rate for 24 hours and a water absorption rate under reduced pressure of≥0.1 mass% and≤15 mass% each and collapse strength of≥0.5 kN is manufactured by using the waste or the like as the main raw material, adding and mixing a component adjuster and/or a sintering aid with the main raw material if need to obtain prescribed chemical composition, charging the raw material in a powdery or granular state having the average particle diameter adjusted to≥1μm and≤5 mm into a rotary kiln and firing while granulating, wherein the diameter of the granulated sintered substance is adjusted by the combination of the circumferential speed of the outer circumferential part of the effective inside diameter of the rotary kiln and a ratio of the temperature of kiln inlet gas to the firing temperature in the rotary kiln. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
