<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device along with its manufacturing method, of which a damage which a carbon nanotube receives is small, with good electron releasing characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A print film 6 comprising a carbon nanotube 3, a resin 4, and a carbon component 5 is formed on a negative electrode 2 of a glass substrate 1. The print film 6 is irradiated with the laser of short pulse and high output in ultraviolet region, so that the resin 4 evaporates by thermal decomposing. This impact destructs coupling between carbon nanotubes 3 near the surface of the print film 6, and the carbon nanotubes 3 come into raising state on the surface of the print film 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
