PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for preventing the use of a pirated disk and tracing a manufacturing source thereof. SOLUTION: An encryption volume ID is generated by calculation based on a product mark containing a public key certificate issued to a disk manufacturing entity or a disk manufacturing device, a product mark corresponding value such as a hash value generated based on the product mark, and a volume ID as an identifier set for a certain set of manufactured disks. The product mark and the encryption volume ID are used as generation information of a key for decoding encryption contents, and recorded in a disk by a reflected film removal recording system. Thus, based on a commercially available authorized disk, reading of a product mark or an encryption volume ID as key generation information from a physically copied pirated disk is prevented, and unauthorized reproduction and use of contents are prevented.
