PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SIMD type microprocessor adaptable to a higher processing speed and higher imaging quality. SOLUTION: The SIMD type microprocessor has m-pieces of PEs (m is a natural number of 2 or greater). In the SIMD type microprocessor, each of the PEs has a computation part which includes n-pieces of computation circuits (n is a natural number of 2 or greater) for processing maximum n-pieces of data at a time.
