PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveyance equipment which can prevent decline of conveyance efficiency while making an article conveyance vehicle not to run vainly. SOLUTION: A traveling control means memorizes a non-interference distance from a traveling schedule path 1 to an interference object W in the breadth direction of the article conveyance vehicle 2 about both sides of the traveling schedule path 1 in connection with a position of the longitudinal direction of path of traveling schedule path 1. When a roadblock B which constitutes a barrier to traveling the path exists, the traveling control means distinguishes whether the interference object W becomes as an obstacle for detour traveling, when detour traveling is performed in order to detour the roadblock B in a form to return the article conveyance vehicle 2 to the traveling schedule path 1 after making it withdraw in a lateral direction from the traveling schedule path 1 and advancing based on the presence position of the roadblock B in breadth direction of the article conveyance vehicle 2 and the non-interference distance.
