PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system having a convenient-to-use intermittent photographing device allowing multipoint intermittent photographing operations. SOLUTION: The intermittent photographing device 19 comprises: a condition setting means for setting an intermittent photographing condition consisting of predetermined photographing time intervals and the number of photography sheets; an image obtaining means 3 for obtaining an image photographed under the intermittent photographing condition; a setting alteration means for altering the intermittent photographing condition during the operation based on the intermittent photographing condition set by the condition setting means; and a recording means for recording an image photographed under the intermittent photographing condition after the alteration, following the image photographed under the intermittent photographing condition before the alteration, when the intermittent photographing condition is altered by the setting alteration means.
