PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system with which a user does not take the trouble to clean electric contacts of both of a camera head and a camera body. SOLUTION: In the camera system, a cleaning member 12b which wipes an electric contact 11a of the camera head 1a to be exchangeably attached in accordance with a rotation operation at the time of attachment is provided at the edge of an electric contact 11b near a mount part 10b of the camera body 1b being as the one which is commonly used. When the camera head is attached to the camera body by rotation of the camera head, the electric contact part 11a on the side of the camera head 1a is automatically cleaned by the cleaning member 12b of the camera body.
