PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold mirror which has the fewer number of layered layers and further provides high reflectance of visible light. SOLUTION: The cold mirror A has: a substrate 1; a dielectric multilayered film 3 where thin films having refractive indices different from each other are alternately layered; and an IR transmission film 2 having a refractive index higher than the refractive index of any thin film forming the dielectric multilayered film 3.
