PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain perovskite-type oxide nanosheets having an average thickness of 10-1,000 nm by utilizing an improved fluidized interfacial sol-gel process. SOLUTION: The perovskite-type oxide nanosheets having an average thickness of 10-1,000 nm is obtained by chemically modifying a metal alkoxide of each constitutive component of the perovskite-type oxides, then partially hydrolyzing the modified alkoxide to convert it into a polymer, preparing a polymer solution having a desired concentration by dissolving the polymer with a solvent containing aldehydes, producing gel nanosheets by the precisely and chemically designed, fluidized interfacial sol-gel process, and firing the gel nanosheets in carbon dioxide-free dry air or oxygen atmosphere.
