PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue the issue of a plurality of media by recovering the jamming thereof even if the jamming occurs when the issue of the media is started after the plurality of media are charged. SOLUTION: In this medium issuing method using a disclosed medium issue device 10, after the plurality of media A and B like rolled paper are charged in a plurality of hoppers 1 and 2, the issue of the media A is started. When the jamming occurs in the media A before they are cut by a cutter part 11, the hopper 1 corresponding to the media A, a roller 3A corresponding to the hopper 1, a carrying route 5, and a shared carrying route 7 are driven to roll back the media A to the hopper 1. Then, the other hopper 2, a roller 4A corresponding to the hopper 2, a carrying route 6 corresponding to the medium B fed from the roller 4A, and the shared carrying route 7 are driven to feed the media B from the corresponding hopper 2 to a printing part 9 and the cutter part 11 to start the issue of the media B.
