PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator transmission system capable of obtaining efficiently the information concerning the maintenance and management of an elevator. SOLUTION: When power is supplied to control boards 1, 2, 3, through a transmitting path 4 the control board 1 feeds the others 2, 3 with control signals showing an output request of the data stored in memories of IC tags of the control boards 2 and 3. When fed with the control signals from the control board 1, the control boards 2, 3 read the data from their memories and send to the control board 1 via a communication interface and the transmitting path 4. The control board 1 writes into its memory the data given by the control board 2 and the data given by the control board 3. When a communication unit having a short distance radio communication function is put in proximity to the IC tag of the control board 1, the data stored in the memory is transmitted from its IC tag to the communication unit, and this is displayed on a monitor of a terminal unit.
