PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a sash shape having a gradually changing section and globally high rigidity. SOLUTION: One metal piece is formed by a roll-forming means so that a groove part 3 and a flange part 6 have predetermined sectional shape. A non-worked end 21 which is one end in the width direction of the metal piece to form a part of a half-finished shape 1 is cut so that the width is gradually changed. By forming the cut portion 21 so as to have the gradually changing width by a folding means or a pressing means, a contact part 2 and a cavity part 5 having gradually changing sectional shapes are formed. A terminal part 29 for forming a wall face 23 of the cavity part 5 is joined with a terminal part 69 of the flange part 6 by using a hemming means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
