PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desirable dust removing mechanism of a paper bag type dust collecting filter in an electric vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: The electric vacuum cleaner is constituted so as to oscillate a dust removing element 17 oscillatably arranged inside of a ventilating window 8a for taking out air in a dust collecting chamber 11 by repeatedly pressing the same using contacting elements 28 of a dust removing element driving drum 27 arranged in a lower portion of the dust collecting chamber, and to remove dust by vibrating a paper bag 16b for filtering of the paper bag type dust collecting filter 16 inflated by collecting dust.
